Oversee all accounting operations including A/P A/R payroll grants management and general ledger.
Prepare and analyze monthly quarterly and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP and funder requirements.
Manage audits (annual grant-specific tax) and serve as the primary liaison with external auditors.
Ensure compliance with restricted funding sources (e.g. HUD CDBG tax credits private grants).
Monitor cash flow reserves and liquidity across multiple properties and programs.
Lead annual budgeting process in collaboration with program and property management teams.
Provide financial forecasting and scenario modeling for development projects and operational expansions.
Track performance against budgets investigate variances and recommend corrective actions.
Bachelors Degree in Accounting/Finance or related field
5 years in accounting/finance management
Expertise in fund accounting government grants and multi-entity financials.
Prior experience in non-profit/affordable housing required
Knowledge of HUD LIHTC and other housing program rules a plus
