Overview
The Business Analyst plays a pivotal role in bridging the gap between IT and business operations. By analyzing business needs and translating them into technical requirements the Business Analyst ensures that stakeholders expectations are met while aligning with the organizations goals. This role not only focuses on improving processes and systems but also emphasizes strategic planning and project . The Business Analyst conducts thorough research and analysis of market trends competitors and internal operations to identify opportunities for improvement and recommend solutions. Collaborating with cross-functional teams they facilitate communication and enhance workflow efficiency. Overall the Business Analyst is essential for optimizing performance driving profitability and empowering teams to make informed decisions that positively impact the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather and document business requirements through stakeholder interviews and workshops.
- Create detailed business process documentation to support system improvements.
- Analyze data sets to identify trends gaps and opportunities for enhancement.
- Develop and present business cases to justify project investments.
- Collaborate with technology teams to design test and implement software solutions.
- Facilitate meetings with stakeholders to prioritize project requirements.
- Perform gap analysis to identify discrepancies between current and desired state.
- Support project management activities to ensure timely delivery of solutions.
- Assist in user acceptance testing to ensure solutions meet business needs.
- Monitor and evaluate the outcomes of implemented solutions.
- Continuously assess business processes for efficiency and effectiveness.
- Provide training and support to end-users on new systems.
- Engage in risk management by identifying potential project issues.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation for all business requirements.
- Contribute to the ongoing improvement of business analysis methodologies.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor s degree in Business Administration Computer Science or related field.
- 3 years of experience in a business analysis or similar role.
- Strong understanding of business process modeling and improvement methodologies.
- Experience with data analysis tools and techniques.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with software development life cycle (SDLC) methodologies.
- Experience in creating use cases user stories and process flows.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively across teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Certifications in Business Analysis (e.g. CBAP) are preferred.
- Knowledge of project management tools and methodologies.
- Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and priorities.
- Experience in stakeholder management and engagement.
- Strong critical thinking and analytical skills.
