Job Description
Recreation Assistant
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Recreation Assistant to join our team. Candidates must be local to Vancouver and the surrounding areas as no mileage per diem or accommodation will be provided. This is a full-time position with shifts from Sunday to Thursday.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in planning and executing recreational activities for seniors.
- Work closely with the team to ensure a positive and engaging environment.
- Promote participation and social interaction among participants.
Qualifications:
- Recreation Assistant Certificate (consideration given to candidates with a Recreation Aide Certificate or Recreation Therapy Diploma).
- Prior experience working as a Recreation Assistant (minimum 6 months) especially with seniors is essential.
Details:
- Starting Date: Early June
- Duration: 5 weeks (full-time hours)
