Job Description
Cyber Advisors provide ICT security advice and assistance to government including policy creation project advice and assistance and research.
Requirements
Key duties and responsibilities
Responsible for actioning and allocating SIAM cyber related tickets through our DAFF system and other cybersecurity queues like shared mailboxes.
Responsible for proxy administration website whitelisting and troubleshooting requests related to proxy rule restrictions.
Building and maintaining strong working relationships with technical and non-technical stakeholders both written and verbal.
Developing and maintaining cyber knowledge base articles for the SIAM and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for cyber teams.
Level 1 and 2 Incident investigation and response within the designated SIEM escalating tickets to incident response manager and senior cyber resources where required.
Alert response activities within a protected environment SIEM.
Contribute to Change Management for DAFF relating to cyber security and other approval requests.
Technical skills
Minimum two years demonstrated experience with: Enterprise Proxies Azure Sentinel Defender XDR Splunk Active Directory Ticket management systems
Essential criteria 1. A track record of delivering technology products in large organisations 2. A demonstrated understanding of what makes for a great developer experience for external users 3. Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams that follow agile and user-centred design practices 4. Experience working on large Government transformation programs highly regarded Desirable criteria 1. Knowledge, experience of, and relationships with the agriculture technology industry 2. Delivery of technology to support regulatory decision-making processes 3. Experience delivering to the Australian Government Digital Service Standard
