The Tribe Voice & Messaging is responsible for the design development planning validation and operation of all voice and messaging platforms in DT Techniks fixed and mobile network over their entire lifecycle. We provide innovative reliable state-of-the-art services to our cellular- and landline-based customers.
The scope of a current program is to bring voice & messaging applications into the cloud. Well change the todays model of separated fixed and mobile systems and merge them. Thats why we want you on our team.
Tasks
Responsible for the implementation of the Release Management more specifically plan test coordinate support / execute rollout.
Responsible for the Inicident- Problem- Change management.
Write and run automated tests with Jenkins / Cucumber.
Build automated test environments with the Telekom test automation framework.
Monitoring optimizing and automating operations through the definition and continuous improvement of automated solutions.
Automation of tasks using with Ansible Tower Python Yaml or other programming languages or Tools.
Regular interaction with vendors.
Troubleshooting and debugging skills using tools like Wireshark.
Responsible for implementation and compliance the Privacy and Security Assessment process.
Must have skills
 Detailed VoIP know-how (SIP SDP (s)RTP Diameter IMS able to explain call-flows on protocol level).
Linux Bash Skills (general server administration moving around in filesystem package managers installing software checking resource utilization writing small bash scripts to automate tasks).
Private Cloud Architectures Openstack.
Hands-on experience in platforms like IMS Linux Openstack.
Knowledge in agile methods such as Scrum and Kanban.
Familiarity with one or more scripting/programming languages such as: MySQL Python Yaml. (Python & YamL preferred or willingness to go into (writing and maintaining small programs for workflow automation)
Understanding of DevOps practices particularly in automating like CI/CD processes and tools (GitLab Ansible Jenkins).
Willingness to grow in areas of technology and IT automation.
IT security mindset includes knowledge of encryption technologies and compliance.
2 or 3 years of experience.

Understanding German would be helpful (optional)

Linux GitLab Docker Kubernetes Helm Flux Test Automation using Python/ behave Zabbix
Focus is increasing the automation rate for tests ensure a complete and automated patch management and generate a very stable and secure infrastructure.
