About the role
We are currently looking to recruit a talented and dedicated Accounting Officer (6-Month Contract) to join our finance team based in Hong Kong. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing accurate efficient and professional financial support.
Responsibilities:
- Handle the monthly accounts closing and assist in preparing consolidated accounts;
- Handling and managing outsourced PRC accounting agent deliverables for preparing IFRS group accounts where necessary;
- Assist in preparing management reports and financial analysis;
- Prepare regular and ad hoc analytical reports required by the management;
- Support on all auditing and tax reporting and ad-hoc duties as assigned.
Qualifications :
Ideal candidates must have:
- Degree in Accountancy or similar discipline from an internationally recognized university;
- Minimum 3 years working experience;
- Ability to handle a full set of accounts;
- Proficiency in PC applications such as Excel Word PowerPoint etc.;
- Experience in using accounting software;
- Working experience for PRC units possess knowledge in dealing PRC taxes are advantageous;
- Excellent command of both written and spoken English and Mandarin;
- Strong analytical skills and good business acumen;
- Responsible friendly team player flexible work approach positive attitude and the ability to work in a multi-cultural environment autonomously;
- Initially start with 6 months contract potentially extend to permanent role
- Immediately available is highly preferable.
