You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailWe are looking for a highly organised and proactive Executive Assistant to support the General Counsel at Wise. This role goes beyond traditional diary and travel managementyou will be a strategic partner handling high-level projects governance coordination and financial administration. Working closely with the legal leadership team youll ensure seamless operations communication and project execution in a fast-paced fintech environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Executive Support: Act as a gatekeeper effectively managing the General Counsels time priorities and stakeholder engagement.
Strategic Coordination: Prepare executive summaries high-level reports and board materials to support decision-making.
Governance & Compliance: Oversee legal team governance processes ensuring best practices are followed.
Project & Event Management: Plan and execute team offsites events and cross-departmental initiatives including assisting with exec team and board events.
Financial Oversight: Manage executive office budgets invoices and financial planning.
Communication Management: Draft and refine internal and external communications on behalf of the General Counsel.
Leadership Support: Lead administrative teams and contribute to strategic planning sessions.
Knowledge & Experience:
Proven experience as an Executive Assistant at senior leadership level ideally in fintech legal or financial services.
Strong understanding of governance compliance and legal processes in a corporate environment.
Experience in project management and executing high-level administrative initiatives.
Proficiency in budget management forecasting and financial reporting.
Skills & Abilities:
Meticulous attention to detailaccuracy is non-negotiable.
Exceptional business communication skills including drafting executive-level correspondence.
Strategic problem-solving ability with strong decision-making skills.
Ability to anticipate needs and proactively solve challenges.
Strong technical proficiency particularly in Google Suite Microsoft Office and project management tools.
Personal Attributes:
Highly organised and proactive with a structured approach to workload management.
Comfortable handling confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
Able to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Adaptable and eager to take on new responsibilities beyond traditional EA tasks.

Please note for this position we would require someone who is able to work from our London offices 5 days a week
