Bubbas Gourmet Burghers and Beer is a high-energy guest-focused restaurant known for top-quality gourmet burgers local craft beer and outstanding service. Located in the heart of Southpointe we pride ourselves on creating a welcoming environment for our guests and a great workplace for our team. Were looking for a driven and experienced General Manager to lead our Southpointe location and take it to the next level.
Position Summary:
The General Manager (GM) is responsible for the daily operations of the restaurant including team leadership financial performance guest satisfaction and upholding brand standards. The GM will be a hands-on leader who motivates and develops a high-performing team while ensuring every guest receives a memorable dining experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead coach and manage all front-of-house and back-of-house staff.
- Oversee daily operations including opening/closing procedures food quality cleanliness and safety.
- Ensure exceptional guest service and resolve any issues promptly and professionally.
- Manage inventory ordering and vendor relationships.
- Drive sales and profitability through strategic planning and efficient cost control.
- Recruit train and retain top talent to build a strong and reliable team.
- Monitor labor food and beverage costs to ensure alignment with budget goals.
- Maintain compliance with health safety and company policies.
Qualifications:
- 3 years of experience as a General Manager in a high-volume restaurant setting.
- Proven leadership skills and a passion for team development.
- Strong knowledge of restaurant operations including food safety and labor laws.
- Excellent communication problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Customer-first mentality with a commitment to service excellence.
- Proficiency in POS systems and inventory management software.
- Availability to work evenings weekends and holidays as needed.
