Job Description

Basic Job Purpose/Function

Klickitat County Civil Service will be testing for the position ofCriminal Records Technicianto work for the Klickitat County Sheriff. Essential Job Duties

  1. Maintains department criminal files and records; enters data into computer software.
  2. Manages sex offender registrations.
  3. Picks up and delivers files mail and other data involved in maintaining records; processes public disclosures.
  4. Maintain records computer program; train users to utilize records computer program; troubleshoot the program and computer system.
  5. Provides support to clerical and patrol staff.
  6. Maintains criminal statics (NIBRS).
  7. Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements/Minimum Qualifications


      • High school diploma or G.E.D.
      • Two years general office or records keeping experience.
