Job Description

Are you a Certified Practising Speech Pathologist with a passion for maintaining professional standards and supporting your peers Join Speech Pathology Australia as a Regulation Officer and help shape the future of the profession.

As a vital member of our Regulation team youll play a key role in delivering our regulatory functions with a strong focus on Professional Recognition including:

  • Assessing qualifications and competencies of overseas-trained speech pathologists
  • Supporting the Return to Practice program
  • Monitoring and evaluating the Certification program
  • Youll also collaborate across regulatory areas including Accreditation and Ethics working closely with the respective managers to ensure consistency and high standards.

Contributing to the evolving landscape of self-regulated health professions in Australia

About You

Youre a seasoned professional who brings:

At least five years of experience in speech pathology

Current Certified Practising Speech Pathologist (CPSP) status

Experience with competency-based assessments and staff or student supervision

A solutions-focused mindset and strong initiative

A collaborative approach and attention to procedural consistency

A commitment to upholding the values and strategic direction of Speech Pathology Australia
