Job Description
The Cho laboratory studies skeletal muscle formation regeneration and degeneration using myoblast cell lines and zebrafish embryos. More specifically we examine the role of proteases and focal adhesion proteins in muscle biology. We employ standard cell biology and chemo-proteomics approaches. We are seeking a research technician to perform following tasks: cell culture DNA /protein gel electrophoresis cell fractionation microscopy DNA cloning and data analysis (Python/R).
Required Qualifications Competencies And Experience
- Basic understanding of molecular and cell biology
Preferred Qualifications Competencies And Experience
- Prior experience in a biology or a chemistry lab - Expertise in myoblast/myotube culture - Strong communication and organization skills
