Position Summary

Do you enjoy athletic programs being outdoors and being a resource for others Are you someone who values community and appreciates the parks and recreation system As an Athletics Program Monitor you will get to work in the places the community loves and in an environment where people are having fun enjoying athletic activities and spending time outdoors. In this role you will be responsible for providing oversight of recreational programming answering questions about park use and helping people navigate the athletic fields and facilities within Pierce County Parks Central Region. You will also enforce codes and conduct throughout the parks to create a safe environment for the public. These are part-time positions that rotate locations based on programming. You will be working out of Sprinker Recreation Center Spanaway Park and Gonyea playfield.

We provide recreation programs and infrastructure in active and passive parks and trails. The department consists of three divisions: Parks and Recreation Administration and Resource Stewardship. About the position available:
There are currently two part-time positions available - Mon-Thurs (after 5:00 pm) 5:30-8:30ish location depending on programming. Potential for work on the weekends.
