Part-time: 21 hours per week
Fixed-term: for 12 months
The Opportunity:
This exciting opportunity involves assisting in several projects including basic science translational projects and clinical studies. The successful candidate is expected to have a basic science or medical degree and will work with an experienced and supportive research team at the University of Edinburgh and NHS Lothian. With regular meetings with the PI and supervisor the post holder will gain valuable expertise in the field of diabetes research. Theywill assist the PI in the running of studies and clinical trials and in the production of scientific material such as writing reports and creating illustrations for publications they will also assist with the organisational aspects of research and meetings.
This post is for 21 hours per week on site.
The salary for this post is 34132 to 39355 per annum pro-rata.
