Job Description

HR & Talent Manager WatchHouse.

In short: As HR & Talent Manager at WatchHouse youll be central to building and nurturing a values-led team culture as we continue to grow. You will lead the end-to-end recruitment process deliver impactful in-house training oversee HR administration and support on complex people matters. This is a hands-on people-first role that blends recruitment expertise with HR operational know-how playing a key part in shaping the WatchHouse experience for our teams.

Directly reports into (Line Manager): Head of People.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead recruitment that champions and reflects the WatchHouse core values.

  • Manage and streamline day-to-day HR administration and compliance.

  • Design and deliver engaging values-driven in-house training programmes.

  • Support and advise on disciplinary procedures and complex HR matters.

  • Ensure seamless onboarding and offboarding experiences.

  • Build strong relationships with teams across the business from House teams to Operations to Senior Leadership.

  • Maintain employee records and HR systems with accuracy and confidentiality.

  • Promote a culture of learning inclusion and open communication.

  • Represent WatchHouse at industry and recruitment events where .

  • Live and breathe the WatchHouse core values passion empathy can do and diligence.

The role in more detail: Youll be responsible for attracting and hiring exceptional people who live and breathe the WatchHouse values: passion can-do diligence and empathy. From job advertising and interviewing to onboarding and early development youll ensure every step of the recruitment journey reflects the culture were proud of.

In collaboration with the wider People Team youll manage HR administrative tasksfrom contracts and compliance to systems upkeepwhile ensuring our people processes run smoothly and efficiently. Youll also lead on in-house training programmes that support employee growth and maintain high standards across our Houses.

Supporting disciplinary processes and senior-level HR cases with professionalism and confidentiality is also a key part of this role alongside being a trusted point of contact for managers seeking guidance on people matters.

Youll thrive in an evolving and high energy environment where youll be actively present in our Houses getting to know our teams and understanding what makes them tick. This is an ideal role for someone who is people-obsessed detail-oriented and energised by helping others grow.

Key to this role:

  • Strong recruitment experience with a focus on values-based hiring.

  • Practical HR knowledge and experience in administrative HR functions.

  • Confident managing or supporting disciplinary and employee relations issues.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills across all levels of the business.

  • Highly organised with strong planning and time management abilities.

  • A natural relationship-builder who is approachable empathetic and trustworthy.

  • Strong understanding of confidentiality and professionalism.

  • Passion for hospitality people development and team culture.

  • Familiarity with HR software and systems is a plus.
