We are looking for a Salesforce Developer to join our Business Systems team at Cansels Head Office in Burnaby. The Salesforce Developer will be responsible for the executing the day-to-day configuration support and maintenance of our CRM platform. As a self-starter you will work within Salesforce on maintaining system health supporting users and delivering improvements
Serve as the lead developer for the environment with 350 users
Develop customized solutions within the Salesforce platform.
Design code and implement Salesforce applications.
Develop test and document SF implementations in relation to development work integrations and data migrations.
Implement and maintain SF customizations such as custom fields and objects layouts workflows process builder and validation rules.
Perform the evaluation planning and completion of new system requests.
Work with Business Analysts to review requirements and suggest solutions.
Support end users performing UAT for new functionality
Effectively communicate development requests to external Salesforce Consultants
Test and deploy new Salesforce functionality delivered by external Salesforce Consultants.
Follow release management process for any production changes
Work in collaboration with our business systems and functional analysts to implement and sustain the integration between our CRM and ERP.
Technical skills
Proficient in MYSQL Apex JavaScript Native and VisualForce.
Experience in Process Builders and Triggers
Experience with REST and SOAP API
Understands large datasets and data mapping.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Minimum 6 years of progressive experience as a developer
Sales Cloud Service Cloud and Developer certifications preferred.
Experience in implementing / maintaining core solutions for several companies with differing end to end sales cycle.
Experience with Lightning
Experience with Service Max desired
Experience coaching and mentoring junior technical and non-technical team members.
Experience using Zendesk and Jira.
Knowledge of SAP ERP SAP Hybris or Dell Boomi would be an asset.
