At Toyota Material Handling Australia (TMHA) we are seeking Field Service Technicians reporting into our Melbourne Branch and work on all types of material handling equipment. We are accepting Technicians/Mechanics from all relevant trades and will support you through the transition.
We currently have mutiple vacancies available for the following positions:
- Field Service Technician (Fixed Site) East and West regions of Melbourne
- Skilled Workshop Technicians.

About the Role:
Toyota Material Handling Australia (TMHA) are currently seeking a Field Service Technician to support our Melbourne branch.
In this role you will carry out breakdown / repairs / routine maintenance on all types of material handling equipment across Melbourne.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Conduct mechanical repairs and maintenance of customer units which includes preventative service and break-downs in a timely manner.
- Maintain professional level of customer service with all TMHA clients and customers.
- Ability to maintain accurate records of job sheets timesheets and any other administrative components.
Qualifications Requirements & Skills:
- Current Drivers licence.
- Relevant trade qualification (Forklift Mechanic Automotive Electrician/Light Vehicle Mechanic Heavy Vehicle Plant Diesel Mechanic).
- Forklift Licence & LPG Certificate would be an advantage butnot essential.
Can Demonstrate:
- Strong work ethic and self-motivation.
- Well-developed mechanical aptitude.
- Good time management skills with the ability to work independently.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Previous experience in a similar role in an associated industry. (desirable)
- Willingness to participate in training programs to increase your product knowledge and understanding of procedures safe work practices statutory responsibilities and licensing requirements.
