Linklaters is looking for an outstanding new graduate to join the Milan team as Trainee for its Banking & Finance department.

The Firms banking team advises banks and other financial institutions companies and governments on domestic and international bank financing transactions across every industry commercial financial and governmental sector.

The Milan office Banking practice areas cover:

• Banking and finance
• Projects/PPP
• Restructuring and insolvency
• Energy
• Environmental

The applicant must have the desire to work within an international environment of excellence where he/she will have the opportunity to collaborate in the most interesting deals with the highest caliber of lawyers. As part of a global and large practice teamwork is vital and you will often work alongside with colleagues in our overseas offices. The ideal candidate should have a passion and desire to learn be enterprising flexible available accurate and able to work in a team.

Key requirements:

• Excellent academic credentials from an Italian University (please attach transcript of records). Abroad or specific education in Banking law will be assessed positively;
• Proficiency level in English;
• Excellent interpersonal communication and organisational skills;
• Knowledge of MS Office (Word PowerPoint and Excel);
• Attitude to use and develop legal tech tools and innovation mindset;
• Previous Intern experiences in a law firm would be a plus.
