Role Overview:

The Senior Business Controller AniCura Groupplays a critical role in enabling data-driven decision-making at the highest levels of the organization. As part of the Group FP&A team the role acts as a strategic co-pilot to the CFO and Group Leadership Team leading core financial planning and analysis activities such as reporting budgeting forecasting and long-term financial planning.

You will co-own the financial dimension of the Integrated Value Creation Plan (IVCP) lead continuous improvement initiatives for planning processes and tools and partner with stakeholders across Group Functions and local markets. This role requires excellent analytical skills business acumen and the ability to influence across a matrixed and international environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the monthly financial close process with Group Controlling and Accounting. Ensure accurate and consistent reporting across markets.
  • Provide monthly quarterly and ad hoc financial reports to AniCura Group LT and Mars. Highlight trends risks and opportunities.
  • Deliver clear variance analysis to support strategic decisions.
  • Manage budgeting and forecasting processes. Own timelines templates and stakeholder alignment.
  • Improve forecasting models to enhance speed accuracy and relevance.
  • Lead long-term financial planning for the Integrated Value Creation Plan (IVCP).
  • Build 35 year plans and investment scenarios aligned with strategic goals.
  • Partner with Strategy and Transformation to track key initiatives.
  • Act as the lead for planning and reporting systems.
  • Ensure data quality standardization and automation.
  • Drive continuous improvements in tools and processes.
  • Serve as a finance partner to senior leaders.
  • Provide insights challenge assumptions and support decisions.

  • Languages: Fluency in English required; other European languages are a plus

Qualifications & Experience:

  • University degree in Finance Economics or Business Administration
  • 5 years of experience in Business Controlling FP&A or Financial/Business Analysis preferably in a corporate/group HQ or international setting
  • Experience working in matrix organizations with proven stakeholder management and influencing skills
  • Demonstrated expertise in financial analysis variance reporting reconciliations and data integrity
  • Strong Excel and MS Office skills; familiarity with financial planning systems such as Anaplan or SAP BPC

Technical Skills:

  • Financial planning budgeting and forecasting
  • Financial systems and data modeling (e.g. Anaplan SAP BPC)
  • Variance and performance analysis
  • Management reporting and KPI development
  • Business partnering and cross-functional collaboration
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
