Job Description: Sonographer (Nights)

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations on patients to assist in the diagnosis of medical conditions.
- Maintain patient safety and comfort during ultrasound procedures.
- Ensure all ultrasound equipment is properly maintained and calibrated.
- Review and evaluate images for quality and completeness.
- Document findings accurately in patient records.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare personnel to discuss ultrasound findings and recommendations.
- Stay updated with advancements in ultrasound technology and best practices.
Essential Qualifications:
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Graduate from a certified CAAHEP school of Diagnostic Medical Sonography Radiologic Technology or a two-year allied health equivalent.
- ARDMS registered with an ABD or OB/GYN credential.
- Minimum of 2 years of paid scanning experience.
Desired Experience:
- Experience in a level I trauma center is a plus.
- Familiarity with Epic EMR is advantageous.
