I. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES

Texas Department of Public Safety requires the services of 1 Software Developer 3 hereafter referred to as Candidate(s) who meets the general qualifications of Software Developer 3 Applications/Software Development and the specifications outlined in this document for the Texas Department of Public Safety.

The Worker will be expected to lead the transition of the TXMAP codebase which is currently built on the .NET Xamarin platform to .NET MAUI enabling the Department s TXMAP iOS and Android mobile apps to continue functioning.


II. CANDIDATE SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Requirements:
Candidates that do not meet or exceed the minimum stated requirements (skills/experience) will be displayed to customers but may not be chosen for this opportunity.
Years Required/ Preferred Experience 8 Required Experience with the .Net platform 8 Required Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio 1 Required Experience with mobile development for Android and Apple mobile devices 5 Preferred Atlassian Tool Suite mainly JIRA 2 Preferred Experience migrating mobile applications from Microsoft Xamarin to .Net Multi-platform App UI (MAUI) 2 Preferred Experience with State of Texas applications
