Kforce has a client seeking a Mid-Level Project Manager in Miami FL (Florida).
Responsibilities:
- Initiating and chartering different phases of the project
- The Project Manager will be managing all aspects of project execution including creating and tracking cost schedule and scope baselines
- Ensures project documents are complete current and stored appropriately
- Managing risks and issues
- Providing clear and accurate weekly and monthly project reporting and forecasting
- Delivering projects and organizational change management to production using readiness assessment sign-off and project close-out techniques
- As a Project Manager you will be acting as a champion to foster a positive project work environment identify and resolve project related problems and successfully lead the team to accomplish all the project objectives within allotted time and budget constraints
Required Skills : * Bachelors degree in a technical field such as Computer Science Computer Engineering or equivalent work experience * A current PM certification is highly desirable * 5 to 7 years of progressive project management experience in Information Technology * Experience with Microsoft Team Foundation Server is essential * Verbal and written communication skills problem solving skills attention to detail and interpersonal skills are essential * Ability to work independently * Strong Leadership skills * Strong customer service skills * Fully knowledgeable and proficient in all aspects of the Project Management Body of Knowledge * Demonstrated experience successfully managing IT projects and be able to cite practical examples of this including example deliverables * Experience with project scheduling tools and in particular with MS Project and Microsoft TFS
