Overview:
A reputable plastics manufacturing company is looking to hire a highly experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer with a strong background in PVC shoe production. This role requires deep technical expertise in mechanical systems used in footwear manufacturing strong leadership and a proactive approach to maintenance and process optimization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the maintenance and continuous improvement of PVC shoe manufacturing equipment.
- Supervise engineers and technicians to ensure efficient operations.
- Implement preventive and predictive maintenance schedules.
- Troubleshoot machinery issues to minimize downtime.
- Monitor performance data and recommend engineering improvements.
- Train and mentor junior engineering staff.
Enforce safety and compliance standards.
Requirements
- BSc/HND in Mechanical Engineering.
- 15 20 years of relevant experience with proven expertise in PVC footwear manufacturing.
- Strong hands-on knowledge of injection molding machines and industrial mechanical systems.
- Leadership experience in a factory or production environment.
Problem-solving mindset and excellent organizational skills.
