Job Description
Responsible for an effective production planning/controlling in both in house/outside production units to delivery customer orders as per the requirement and coordinate with SC/commercial organizations to fulfil customer demand while meeting operations kPIs.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:
Ensure optimum capacity utilization through effective planning/scheduling by guiding the planning team.
Coordinate with all remote facilities to ensure effective utilization of capacity and coordinate with relevant managers to ensure smooth functioning.
Ensure customer demands are met in the planning process and monitor the progress to make sure team getsdirection.
Coordinate with CS team to identify and prioritize urgent orders and follow up the execution.
Direct material allocation team to make sure timely allocation and proper communication to SC.
Guide the planning team to optimize batching/strategic inventory to maximize the UEE
Lead the peak season preparation process and update global teams accordingly
Partner the S & OP process together with SC and sales teams to ensure effective material and capacity planning
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES
Guide planning team on mc allocation for sampling
Oversee the support departments (pre press/proof reading/plat making) execution in order to get the required support for the execution of production plan.
Work together with CS and production team team on IC ordering process to ensure timely deliveries to customers
Support production managers on all planning related matters and to coordinate with outside parties regarding capacity issues
Adhere to/ support the ISO 9001/2000 procedures
Support and maintain the health and Safety standards in the company
Adhere to/Support & follow the Environmental Management System
Lead/participate in continuous improvement project and activities to improve current status.

Knowledge on production management

Ability to maintain excellent relationships with other departments outsource suppliers sister sites
Ability to work long hours if needed
Outgoing personality
Technical Skills
Good numerical skills
Good command in spoken and written English
Knowledge on printing process would be an added advantage though not essential.
operating MS office packages
EDUCATION:
A recognized engineering degree with at least 2 years experience in similar capacity.
