Were looking for a creative and driven design student whos passionate about visual storytelling. As a valued member of the Strategic Communications and Marketing team supporting Canada and the UK youll play a key role in promoting our brand identity and helping us communicate clearly and compellinglyboth internally and externally.
Responsibilities
- You are a visual storyteller. You bring ideas to life through creative design. Youll assist in the development of engaging graphics layouts and digital assets for use across a variety of platformsincluding social media internal communications web presentations events and more.
- You thrive on turning ideas into visuals. Whether its translating statistics into an infographic or animating a message for social media you know how to simplify complexity through design. You collaborate closely with communication leads and stakeholders to ensure alignment with brand standards and messaging goals.
- Youre flexible and detail-oriented. You can juggle multiple design requests and pivot quickly when priorities shift. You take pride in delivering polished high-quality workeven when timelines are tight.
- You understand the power of design in engagement. Your work helps people connect with our brandwhether its through an eye-catching internal campaign poster a dynamic social media graphic or a refreshed brochure layout.
- Youre eager to contribute to a small high-impact team. You bring ideas to the table seek feedback and support a broad mix of marketing and communications projects.
- You have a sharp eye for detail. From typography and alignment to color accuracy and brand consistency. You review your work carefully and take ownership of catching errors before deliverables go live.
Qualifications :
- Currently enrolled in a college or university program in graphic design visual communications or a related field (formal enrollment in a co-op program is required)
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign Illustrator Photoshop); experience with video editing or motion graphics tools (like Premiere Pro or After Effects) is beneficial
- A strong portfolio showcasing creativity design fundamentals and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Comfort working collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- An interest in corporate branding digital media and marketing communications
The following would be considered strong assets:
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint Word)
- A connection to the defence industry
