Summary :
UNIT DETAILS (ICU- Appleton):Appleton ICU is a 16 bed fast paced general medical/surgical/cardiac Intensive Care Unit. Each nurse cares for 1-2 patients while delivering holistic primary care nursing to both the patients and families.

SCHEDULE:
12 hour ROTATING schedule between days/nights (Fri-Sun)

Development/Growth opportunity within the Organization:
The Registered Nurse provides patient-centered specialized evidence-based nursing care across the continuum through an interprofessional approach to treatment research education and advocacy. Contributes to the goals of the department by being accountable for the delivery of compassionate and safe care within the scope of practice as defined by the Wisconsin Board of Nursing and ThedaCare policy. Through collaborative practice with members of the care team is responsible for patient outcomes that meet the high quality of care provided by ThedaCare. Furthers the professional practice of nursing at ThedaCare by promoting a culture of innovation and a commitment to growth and professional development.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Current Wisconsin RN Licensure
Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN) OR Associates Degree in Nursing with an agreement to obtain the BSN within five years.
American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS)
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Ability to move freely (standing stooping walking bending pushing and pulling) and lift up to a maximum of Fifty (50) pounds without assistance
Job classification is exposed to blood borne pathogens (blood or bodily fluids) while performing job duties
Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination to perform patient care procedures

** For all experienced CV ICU RNs you may be eligible for a $20k sign on bonus!** Must have the below criteria to qualify:
BSN
Minimum of 3 years of CV ICU experience including experience with recovering open heart surgical patients.
BLS & ACLS
Schedule:
Rotating shifts between days/nights (5:30p-6a & 5:30a-6p)
Every 3rd weekend requirement
Holiday rotation required
