Position Details:
- Job Title: Physiotherapist
- Department: Health Services
- Reports To: Site Supervisor / Clinical Lead / Health Director
- Locations: Various FNHA Sites & BC Health Authorities
- Employment Type: Full-time / Part-time / Casual (Temporary Staffing)
Your Role:
As a Physiotherapist youll help patients regain mobility and improve their quality of life through individualized treatment plans. Your work may take place in diverse settings including:
- Community Health Centres
- Remote First Nations communities
- Regional hospitals and outpatient clinics
Key Responsibilities:
Direct Patient Care:
- Assess mobility strength and physical limitations
- Develop and implement therapy plans tailored to each patients needs
- Educate patients and caregivers on exercises techniques and treatment plans
- Monitor progress and adjust treatments based on patient feedback and goals
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver holistic patient-centered care
Qualifications:
- Degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited institution
- Registered and licensed to practice in British Columbia
Compliance Requirements:
- Clear Criminal Record Check (including Vulnerable Sector)
- Two professional references
- Up-to-date immunizations

- Strong clinical assessment skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration within teams
- Cultural safety and sensitivity in diverse patient populations
- Compassionate patient-centered care
- Ability to work both independently and within a team
Working Conditions:
- Travel may be required to rural and remote First Nations communities
- Flexible scheduling including weekends and holidays
- Physical role requiring hands-on patient assistance
