Position Purpose:

The Senior Manager Multicultural Marketing will be responsible for driving the strategy and execution behind THDs Multicultural Marketing initiatives. This person will be responsible for leading a team that designs audience-based marketing strategies designed around growth.


Key Responsibilities:

  • 30% Work cross-functionally w/key stakeholders (e.g. Customer Insights Marketing Analytics Merchandising Marketing PR & Social). Responsible for effectively driving education & partnerships internally/externally in organization.
  • 40% Program Mgmt -Design/execute audience-marketing strategy for Agile campaigns (developing hypothesis data strategy; creative strategy activation and reporting activities. Strategic recommendations to scale Agile Marketing integration into business priorities; share knowledge w/ stakeholders. Direct external agency team.
  • 30% Reporting/Metrics -Ensure programs delivered on-time/ budget & determine effectiveness of Agile spend/ resource. Monitor effective benchmarks for measuring impact of audience-marketing programs & analyze effectiveness of campaigns to maximize results. Build weekly status reports and executive-level presentations as needed.


Direct Manager/Direct Reports:

  • This role reports to the Director of Marketing
  • This position has 2 direct reports.


Travel Requirements:

  • Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.


Physical Requirements:

  • Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.


Working Conditions:

  • Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must be eighteen years of age or older.
  • Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
  • Knowledge of PowerPoint Excel and MS Office
  • Ability to understand the basics of technology associated with social media customer communications online marketing and eBusiness - Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to think and respond quickly maintaining attention to detail


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Retail Marketing experience
  • Data analytics experiences
  • Programmatic buying audience-centered marketing experience is a plus
  • Budget Management
  • Agency Account/Project Management


Minimum Education:

  • The knowledge skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelors degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.


Minimum Years of Work Experience:

  • 6

  • Understands paid media strategies data utilization and programmatic buying; Has excellent written communications skills both written and verbal
  • Highly analytical with a deep understanding of data - how to assess and analyze data sources data outcomes and apply that understanding to agile campaign strategies
  • A pragmatic and professional nature. Able to establish and meet deadlines and to establish clear priorities quickly. Ability to work effectively under pressure and to handle a heavy work load.
  • A highly-motivated hands-on professional with a personal reputation for integrity and ethics.
  • Strong analytically with demonstrated business planning skills
  • Positive upbeat can-do professional and responsible attitude independent and self-directed yet also team oriented
  • Influential; practiced in negotiating with others in ways that result in win-win Outcomes

Ability to build close relationships with stakeholders across the organization as well as with key vendor partner.
