Description:You will be the Manufacturing Engineering Associate Manager for the Manufacturing Engineering team. Our team is responsible for implementing and developing efficient manufacturing processes and systems to support production efforts.

What You Will Be Doing
As the Manufacturing Engineering Associate Manager you will be responsible for leading and managing various production processes and improvement initiatives within the mechanical shop working closely with cross-functional teams to drive business results. Your responsibilities will include:
Leading and managing production processes in the mechanical shop ensuring efficient and high-quality output
Developing and implementing process improvements including root cause analysis and corrective action activities
Collaborating with development program teams to support mechanical shop efforts and evaluate new parts for production
Designing for manufacturing reviews to ensure producibility and efficiency

Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities
Basic Qualifications:
- Knowledgeable of mechanical manufacturing processes
- Experience with manufacturing process development
- Proven results in process improvements and Root Cause/Corrective Action
- Skilled at reading/interpreting engineering drawings
Desired Skills:
- Experience with design for manufacturing reviews and driving producibility improvements into new designs
- Experience managing projects in a shop environment and driving them from initial concept to completion
- GD&T Knowledge
- Ability to manage multiple projects with changing priorities
- Leadership and team management skills with adaptability to dynamic shop support needs
Security Clearance Statement:This position requires a government security clearance you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely:Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules:Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position:4x10 hour day 3 days off per week
