Job Description

Senior RF Signal Processing Research Engineer

Were seeking an innovative Senior RF Signal Processing Research Engineer to develop cutting-edge solutions for complex signal processing challenges.

Position Overview

As a Senior RF Signal Processing Research Engineer youll work on sophisticated signal processing algorithms in challenging RF environments contributing to national security initiatives while advancing the boundaries of signal processing technology.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement advanced signal processing algorithms for complex RF applications
  • Lead research initiatives as principal investigator or collaborate within specialized engineering teams
  • Conduct sophisticated RF signal analysis reverse engineering and system modeling
  • Develop high-performance algorithms using C/C and Python
  • Optimize algorithms for real-time processing in production environments
  • Interface with stakeholders to translate technical requirements and manage project expectations
  • Present complex technical concepts to diverse audiences

Required Qualifications

  • M.S. in Electrical Engineering Computer Engineering or related field (Ph.D. preferred)
  • Minimum 2 years experience in signal processing (5 years preferred)
  • Active Top Secret/SSBI clearance
  • U.S. Citizenship required
  • Proven expertise in scientific programming with C/C and Python
  • Strong foundation in signal processing theory and implementation

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with SDR RF architecture and wireless propagation modeling
  • Knowledge of modern communications protocols (LTE WCDMA GSM 802.11 802.16)
  • Linux and open source development experience
  • Background in numerical linear algebra
  • Publications in relevant technical journals
