The Role
Join the POLYWOOD Shipping Department where youll play a vital role in ensuring our products reach customers efficiently and safely. This is an active hands-on position requiring physical stamina attention to detail and a commitment to teamwork.
What Youll Do
- Unload store and organize inbound materials to support all teams.
- Work closely with Purchasing Accounting and Inventory Control to verify and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Manage spare pallet inventory ensuring daily sorting and organization.
- Transfer finished products between buildings and support Shipping with material handling tasks.
- Operate forklifts and trucks for material transfers and truck scheduling.
- Keep work areas organized by stocking empty pallets and emptying trash hoppers.
What Were Looking For
- Reliable and proactive employees who take initiative in organizing and supporting daily operations.
- Detail-focused workers who can maintain accurate inventory and manage materials efficiently.
- Team Player: A positive attitude and willingness to work collaboratively with others.
- Attention to Detail: Ensuring accuracy in handling and preparing shipments.
- Forklift Experience (Preferred): Prior experience or certification is a plus but not required.
- Adaptability: Willingness to learn and adjust to a dynamic shipping environment.
- Reliability: Consistent attendance and punctuality are essential.
