The Configuration and Data Management (CDM) organization is responsible for ensuring our products are under configuration control and delivered on time. The CDM Organization consists of multiple disciplines that support engineering our program offices and our customers.
The Configuration and Data Management Department is seeking a Principal Configuration Management Specialist located onsite in Tucson AZ. (On-site).
What You Will Do
Lead the coordination and administration of assigned configuration management activities relative to identification control verification and accounting for systems and equipment in accordance with contractual requirements.
Establish procedures for and implement the introduction of changes to engineering documents for an assigned program and represent the functional group in the implementation of common processes.
Review and analyze released engineering change data and coordinates changes with engineering quality support manufacturing and engineering data control activities including classified support.
Ensures implementation of customer and internal configuration management requirements
Manage change and status accounting activities to ensure compliance with contractual and configuration management policies.
Establish and control configuration identification processes and baselines.
Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires a Bachelors degree in Business Science or other related fields
Typically requires 5 years of Configuration Management experience
Experience with MSOffice (Word Excel and PowerPoint)
Experience with technology and computing tools (PDM-Product Data Management SAP or similar tools)

Qualifications We Prefer
Solid competency in project planning
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate with various engineering disciplines to ensure data integrity and compliance with configuration management policies.
Identify potential complex problems associated with technical engineering data regarding configuration management issues and take corrective action as needed.

This position requires a security clearance. DCSA Consolidated Adjudication Services (DCSA
CAS) an agency of the Department of Defense handles and adjudicates the security clearance process. More information about Security Clearances can be found on the US Department of State government website here: salary range for this role is 82000 USD - 164000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
