- Position: AV Technician
- Location: Washington DC
- Position Type: Full-time
- Travel: NA
- Inspect and power on AV systems daily ensuring operational readiness.
- Maintain equipment inventory and replace components like projector bulbs.
- Install and perform maintenance on AV equipment.
- Set up conference rooms theaters and exhibits for meetings presentations and events.
- Operate live-streaming and video conferencing systems.
- Support hybrid meetings and manage robotic cameras.
- Assist with exhibit transitions dismantling old systems and installing new ones.
- 3-5 years of experience with audio-visual systems integration or service.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with a methodical and focused approach.
- Ability to self-manage and work independently without close supervision.
- CTS (Certified Technology Specialist) certification or equivalent work experience.
- Proficiency in operating video switchers (SDI NDI).
- Experience mixing live sound using digital mixing consoles.
- Expertise in supporting hybrid video conference meetings.
- Ability to read and follow AV system flow diagrams and technical documentation.
- Excellent computer verbal and written communication skills.
- Capacity to multitask and meet project deadlines.
- Preferred Qualifications
- Experience configuring and troubleshooting audio DSPs (e.g. Biamp QSC ClearOne).
- Knowledge of Dante and AVOIP systems.
- Live event experience.
