- Title: General Maintenance Technician
- Location : USAG Bavaria (Graf & Hohenfells)
- Start Date: June 2025

The General & Heavy Equipment Mechanic will perform activities and personnel engaged in the full range of general & heavy track equipment maintenance
QUALIFICATIONS
- High School graduate or equivalent qualification in relevant fields.
- Certification from a vocational school or trade school is preferred.
- A minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of equipment/vehicle diagnostic equipment and mechanical systems.
- Strong attention to detail with an aptitude for problem-solving.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- High sense of responsibility; operate in compliance with regulations and rules
- Ability to complete various forms and records including requisitions repair and servicing forms
- Can understand and communicate in English
- First aid certification may be beneficial.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
- Responsible for inspecting and repairing vehicles machinery and trucks (Light & Heavy).
- Maintain yard/field equipment (forklifts cranes service trucks welders trailers generators etc.)
- Oversee maintenance inspections monitor inventory assemble mechanical components and perform repairs.
- Conduct regular maintenance on machinery systems and automotive vehicles.
- Meet with clients to better understand their concerns and identify the issue.
- Assemble mechanical components according to specifications.
- Examine machines and oversee diagnostic tests to determine functionality problems.
- Design a plan of action for all maintenance tasks and upgrades.
- Maintain work logs repairs and maintenance records.
- Monitor inventory and order new parts when necessary.
- Offer consultation on maintenance and preventative procedures to machine and vehicle users.
- Perform vehicle assessments and alert clients on issues that will prohibit their vehicles from passing inspection.
