Buffalo Trail Public Schools is pleased to offer a full-time temporary teaching opportunity at J.R. Robson School in Vermilion Alberta from August 25 2025 to January 30 2026. This assignment includes teaching Grade 8 and 9 Language Arts. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong understanding of middle years literacy instruction and the ability to integrate technology to support student learning. Specific Position Details:
Specific Position Duties:
Shall be a dynamic student-centred educator committed to maximizing student learning in a safe and caring environment
Deliver engaging curriculum-aligned instruction in Grade 8 and 9 Language Arts supporting literacy development and communication skills
Integrate technology tools including Google Suite and Google Classroom to enhance instruction and support literacy outcomes
Apply a range of assessment practices including formative and summative strategies to guide instruction and support student progress
Contribute to a positive inclusive classroom culture that promotes collaboration respect and academic growth
Work collaboratively with colleagues to support cross-grade alignment and school-wide literacy goals
