About The Role:
Lutheran Services is seeking a visionary and values-driven leader for the role of Executive Director Mission Identity & Culture (EDMIC). This senior executive position is central to embedding Lutheran Services mission values and theological identity across all aspects of organisational life including strategy leadership care delivery and culture.
Reporting directly to the CEO and serving as a key member of the Executive Team the EDMIC leads the integration of Lutheran identity into operational and strategic initiatives ensuring a strong cultural foundation that supports purpose-driven outcomes high performance and meaningful engagement with staff clients and communities. The role is responsible for stewarding the organisations identity framework and model of care fostering a values-based culture and chairing the Mission Culture and Values Committee to ensure identity alignment in decision-making and enterprise-wide practice.
The EDMIC also leads Chaplaincy Services and Church engagement overseeing pastoral care programs and nurturing strong relationships with the Lutheran Church its leadership and wider faith networks. As custodian of Lutheran Services spiritual and cultural heritage you will design and deliver identity-building activities storytelling and symbolic events that bring purpose to life and build cultural cohesion.
About You:
It is expected that the ideal candidate will be a committed practicing Christian and an accomplished executive with a record of leading cultural or values-driven transformation in complex service environments such as aged care health community or education. You will bring strategic acumen strong relational and influencing skills and the ability to integrate faith-based identity with operational excellence. A grounding in or openness to Lutheran theology is essential as is a genuine commitment to servant leadership.
