Our client is the subsidiary of a successful internationally active company with several thousand employees in Germany and overseas. Thanks to its sophisticated products the group is one of the industry segments leading companies in the identification segment with a product portfolio including smart lockers access control- and ID solutions.
Tasks
- Grow business presence in the DACH region (Germany Austria and Switzerland) by proactively selling activating partners and developing the business strategically
- Focus on technical solution-based selling to encourage the use of lockers as the primary product while also promoting other products and associated systems (access control solutions and ID solutions)
- Partner with companies in manufacturing logistics commercial real estate
- Build relationships with facility planners workspace desginers or large-scale distributors in order to secure placements for the customers products in new projects
- Work closely with internal teams to provide localised insights into product positioning and go-to-market strategy
Requirements
- 5 years experience in B2B technical or solution-based business development/sales
- Background in electronics embedded systems security technology industrial automation or smart infrastructure.
- Experience of selling integrated hardware and software solutions
- A strong understanding of physical security the Internet of Things (IoT) radio-frequency identification (RFID) and workplace technology is highly valued.
- Experience of working with system integrators facility technology partners or OEMs
- Ideally you will have connections in sectors such as manufacturing logistics commercial real estate or public sector procurement.
- Comfortable explaining technical concepts to engineers and decision-makers and identifying synergies across product lines and platforms.
- Fluency in German and good knowledge of English
