Job Description
Scope Merge helps European companies build high-performing remote engineering teams in Tunisia. We recruit exceptional local talent and handle all legal payroll and compliance aspects allowing clients to focus on delivery.
Were currently hiring a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to join key client projects involving web and mobile application development. The ideal candidate is comfortable across the stackfrom frontend interfaces to backend logic and is driven by quality performance and great user experiences.
Tasks
- Design build and maintain full-stack applications for web and mobile platforms
- Develop frontend interfaces using frameworks like React React Native or Flutter with a strong eye for UI/UX
- Architect and implement scalable backend services APIs (REST/GraphQL) and databases (SQL/NoSQL)
- Lead development from idea to launch owning the full development lifecycle
- Collaborate with designers and stakeholders to turn business needs into effective technical solutions
- Write clean modular testable and well-documented code
- Ensure applications follow security and data protection best practices
- Guide junior engineers and contribute to peer code reviews
- Optionally manage CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes
Requirements
- 5 years of experience in full-cycle software development
- A portfolio or GitHub showcasing full-stack project delivery (real-world apps or detailed case studies)
- Expertise in at least one major frontend/mobile framework (React React Native Flutter etc.)
- Proficiency in at least one backend framework (e.g. Django Flask Spring Boot Firebase)
- Experience with databases such as PostgreSQL MySQL or MongoDB
- Strong understanding of API design principles
- Direct experience working with international clients
- A strong sense of product quality UI polish and scalable architecture
- Fluent English and the ability to work collaboratively in Agile remote teams
Nice to Have
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS GCP Azure) and CI/CD tools
- Familiarity with Docker Kubernetes or container orchestration
- Experience implementing animations or micro-interactions
- Deep performance optimization skills for both frontend and backend
- Ability to work with design handoff tools like Figma
