Job Description
We are looking for a highly skilled and nbsp;Senior Java Scala Developer and nbsp;with strong AWS expertise and proven experience in the and nbsp;Ecommerce and Retail industry and nbsp;to join our dynamic remote team. This role involves working on a critical customer project that demands excellent technical skills problem-solving abilities and clear communication.
Note - Candidates based in specific Arizona cities are required to work from our office*
Responsibilities
- Design develop and maintain scalable applications using Java and Scala.
- Implement cloud-based solutions utilizing AWS services (EC2 S3 Lambda RDS etc..
- Collaborate with product owners QA DevOps and other cross functional teams to deliver high-quality software.
- Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices and maintain code quality.
- Troubleshoot production issues and implement effective fixes.
- Write clean maintainable and efficient code.
- Provide technical mentorship to junior developers.
- Communicate effectively with the customer throughout all project phases.
Required Skills and amp; Qualifications
- 5 to 7 years of professional software development experience.
- Strong proficiency in Java and Scala programming languages.
- Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services and architecture.
- Solid understanding of microservices architecture and RESTful APIs.
- Experience in the and nbsp;Ecommerce and Retail industry is a must.
- Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes) is a plus.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Selection Process
- Initial Screening - and nbsp;Resume review and phone interview with TechnicaX HR/Recruiter.
- Technical Test - and nbsp;Coding test to evaluate your Java/Scala skills and problem-solving abilities.
- Customer Interview - and nbsp;Final interview with the customer team to assess technical fit and communication skills.
Candidates must successfully pass both the coding test and customer interview.
