Job Description

The Straehla Lab located within the Ben Towne Center for Childhood Cancer Research is dedicated to developing innovative therapies for pediatric cancers. Our research focuses on developing targeted drug delivery systems for intracranial and extracranial solid tumors. We are committed to improving outcomes and finding cures for children battling cancer. Learn more about our research and mission at .

The In Vivo Scientist will play a crucial role in advancing our research by designing and executing in vivo experiments focused on evaluating novel drug delivery technologies for pediatric cancer. This position requires a highly motivated and skilled individual with experience in working with murine models of cancer and a strong understanding of in vivo experimental procedures. The scientist will collaborate closely with other members of the Straehla Lab to contribute to impactful research aimed at improving treatment strategies for childhood cancers.

Responsibilities:

Required Education and Experience
PhD Degree level in applicable science field/related field OR.
Masters Degree in applicable science field/ related field plus minimum three (3) years of related experience OR.
Bachelors Degree or higher in applicable science field / related field plus minimum five (5) years of related experience with a robust publication record.
Related work experience varies by lab / position as it relates to the research projects and research field assigned to this position.

Required Credentials
N/A.

Preferred
PhD in relevant specialty area or closely related field.
Substantial prior experience in relevant area of research.

Compensation Range

$78735.00 - $118103.00 per year

Salary Information

This compensation range was calculated based on full-time employment (2080 hours worked per calendar year). Offers are determined by multiple factors including equity skills experience and expertise and may vary within the range provided.
