Are you passionate about defending enterprise and industrial systems from cyber threats Join us as a Senior Security Engineer leading the operations of our 24/7 Cyber Defense Center. In this critical role youll guide a skilled team in detecting analyzing and responding to security incidents across environments. Youll help shape the future of our security strategy while ensuring we stay ahead of emerging risks and compliance requirements.Key Responsibilities:
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Information Systems Cybersecurity Computer Science or a related field.
7 years of progressive experience in IT security including at least 3 years leading SOC or cybersecurity operations teams.
Proven ability to lead in enterprise or government security environments.
Experience with frameworks and regulations such as RMF NIST CIS Controls SOX HIPAA and NERC CIP.
Hands-on experience with security technologies including SIEM (e.g. Splunk QRadar Sentinel) EDR vulnerability scanners and threat intelligence platforms.
Strong communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
Industry certifications such as CISSP CISM CGRC CCSP PMP or equivalent.
Experience with OT cybersecurity frameworks such as ISA/IEC 62443 NIST SP 800-82 or NERC CIP.
Familiarity with industrial systems including SCADA PLC DCS and protocols such as Modbus and DNP3.
Experience in defense critical infrastructure or public sector environments.
Understanding of governance processes budget management and cross-functional project execution.
Additional Information
This role is based full-time onsite at our Louisville KY campus.
Occasional evening and weekend work may be required to support incident response or critical projects.
