DESCRIPTION OF WORK
As a Utility Energy and Conservation Analyst-2 (UECA-2) within the PUCs Bureau of Technical Utility Services (TUS) you will work with senior staff and management on the review processing and analyzation of reports and filings of electric utilities ensuring utilities are providing reliable service at a reasonable cost. Work involves reviewing and evaluating filings submitted by fixed utilities related to energy as well as preparing written orders reports memos and other documents for internal and external stakeholders on topics and issues related to electric reliability and resiliency. You will have the opportunity to work with electric utilities consumers and other PUC staff to address reliability concerns referred by stakeholders such as the public local and state elected officials and other state agencies.

The position offers a great collaborative work environment and requires some travel for training and meetings.Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM Monday - Friday with a 60-minute lunch.
- Telework:Part-time work from home (telework) may be a potential feature of this position. The successful candidate is required to report to the headquarters worksite daily unless the employee meets eligibility requirements and telework has been approved. Management may discontinue any telework arrangement at any time for any reason. In order to telework you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection. If you are unable to telework you will have the option to report to the headquarters office.
- To be eligible to participate in telework the employees alternate (telework) worksite must meet the following requirements:
- Within a reasonable travel distance of headquarters; and
- Within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year as a Utility Energy and Conservation Analyst 1 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title as determined by the Office of Administration);or
- A Bachelors degree in Economics Energy Policy Business Administration Finance Accounting Engineering or Physical Sciences and two years of utility energy related experience;or
- Any equivalent combination of experience and training.
