Job Description
Urgent requirement for STORE KEEPER .Male candidates in and around Thrissur with hands on experience in store managing or inventory control may apply on or may directly walk in to Paliakkara Toll Plaza or contact joiners are will be around 18K.
Job Summary:
An experienced Store Keeper responsible for managing and overseeing the inventory and stock of goods in a warehouse or store. Ensures that inventory is properly received stored and issued in an efficient and accurate manner. Maintains stock levels tracks inventory records and coordinates with procurement and logistics teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive inspect and record incoming purchases of materials and products.
- Organize and maintain inventory in transparent and accessible manner.
- Monitor stock levels and generate reorder requests to avoid shortages or overstocking.
- Issue materials based on approved requisitions or work orders.
- Maintain accurate records of all inventory movements using inventory management systems or manual log books/registers
- Perform regular stock-taking and inventory audits to ensure accuracy and reconcile discrepancies.
- Ensure proper labeling tagging and storage of all stock items.
- Coordinate with suppliers vendors and internal departments for timely stock replenishment.
- Maintain a clean organized and safe store environment.
- Prepare reports on stock levels usage trends and shortages for management.
Skills and Competencies:
- Proficient in inventory management software and MS Office (Excel Word).
- Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Familiarity with safety and health regulations in a store/warehouse setting.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (Diploma in Store Management or Logistics is a plus).
- 2-3 years of proven experience as a store keeper.
- Experience in construction or civil industry preferred.
