Family Connections is an approach developed and tested over more than 25 years in the USA.
The program is grounded in prevention and intervention practices with a focus on supporting families to reduce risk factors and increase protective factors in the family environment. At its core Family Connections is a strength based systems orientated approach offering in-home family support that utilises evidence-based assessment tools to identify needs and outcome driven service plans.
Micah Projects is seeking a compassionate and committedPeer Workerto join ourFamily Connections Teamin Caboolture. This is a unique opportunity to be part of an innovative evidence-based program supporting families experiencing complex challenges and at risk of child protection involvement.
This is a fixed term part time 0.6FTE employment opportunity with conditions and salary at Level 2 of the SCHADS Award.
