Job Description

We have the following opening for the 2025-2026 school year:

District Wide Special Education Teacher

time at the elementary level with additional district support to be determined

Must hold an Iowa teaching license with K-8 Instructional Strategist I: MM endorsement (required)

The K-12 Instructional Strategist II: LD/BD and/or K-12 Instructional Strategist: II: ID is preferred (or a willingness to obtain)

As part of the application process all candidates are required to submit a detailed lesson plan. Please follow the guidelines below to structure your lesson plan:

Please share a lesson plan you would or have utilized with a group of students connected to one of the literacy strands of the Iowa Essential Elements.
