Job Description
Cherokee Nation Entertainment LLC is seeking a dedicated Security Guard to join our team. The position is responsible for protecting the physical assets of our properties including guests and team members and creating a safe environment. This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of a growing security team within a dynamic organization.
Responsibilities
- Protect the physical assets of CNE properties and ensure guest and employee safety.
- Prevent guests from entering with prohibited items and address policy violations.
- Patrol casinos smoke shops and parking lots.
- Greet and assist guests and respond to their inquiries.
- Aid guests and employees in need and respond to accidents and incidents.
- Detect and report suspicious activities and behavior.
- Maintain relationships with local law enforcement and first responder departments.
- Create detailed reports of incidents and investigations.
- Ensure compliance with age requirements and exclude persons as necessary.
- Escort employees and assist with access to gaming machines.
- Patrol and monitor surveillance video systems.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Oklahoma CLEET unarmed security license within 180 days.
- CPR certification required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays.
- Valid drivers license.
- Working knowledge of defensive tactics and premises security.
NOTE this job is a safety sensitive position subject to drug testing requirements. A positive drug test will result in a job offer being rescinded or for active employees termination even if they test positive for marijuana and have a valid medical marijuana license.
