As a Applied Scientist at the intersection of machine learning and the life sciences you will participate in developing exciting products for customers. Our team rewards curiosity while maintaining a laser-focus in bringing products to market. At the forefront of both academic and applied research in this product area you have the opportunity to work together with a diverse and talented team of scientists engineers and product managers and collaborate with others teams.
- PhD in engineering technology computer science machine learning robotics operations research statistics mathematics or equivalent quantitative field
- 5 years of building machine learning models for business application experience
- Experience programming in Java C Python or related language
- Experience with neural deep learning methods and machine learning
- Experience in deep learning models for life sciences.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $150400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $260000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered equity sign-on payments and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package in addition to a full range of medical financial and/or other benefits.
