Job Description

Summary:

Engineer II Lynn University Boca Raton FL.

Job Description:

Job Duties:

  • Maintain and troubleshoot all air handlers and ice machines.
  • Perform installation preventive maintenance and repairs on all refrigeration heating and ventilating equipment.
  • Work with computer-based energy management systems program.
  • Repair or replace electrical components such as wire contactors starters relays overload heaters motors and compressors.
  • Respond update and close calls through our work order system program.
  • Install piping and pumps related to the HVAC trade that transfer water oil refrigerant and chemicals for system water treatment.
  • Analyze gauge and meter readings relating to pneumatic air water pressure water chemical and solids content refrigerant pressures oil pressure and contaminant content.
  • Assist in daily walks start-up shut down and operation of energy plant.
  • Visually inspect gauges dials and mechanical equipment.
  • Use a personal electronic device to receive work-orders through the work-order management system.
  • Request parts and supplies from different vendors.
  • Assist with obtaining proposals from vendors.

Minimum Requirements

  • High School Diploma (or foreign equivalent).
  • 2 years of experience as an Engineer HVAC Technician or a related occupation including demonstrated experience in: energy control; mathematical calculations; and computer-based work-order and energy management system programs.
  • Must have EPA certification.
  • Must have legal authority to work in the U.S. EEOE.
