Associate Delivery Consultant, Professional Services

Do you enjoy leading guiding and influencing customers and team members to build secure cloud workloads At AWS were hiring highly technical Security Risk and Compliance specialists to collaborate with our customers and partners on key customer engagements. You will apply your deep technical expertise to solve complex customer challenges and develop cloud-based solutions at scale. You will guide customers through transforming their business with the combination of cultural philosophies practices and tools that deliver end-to-end applications and infrastructure solutions.

You will join as part of the AWS Professional Services (ProServe) Associate to Consultant (A2C) global practice which focuses on the incubation of early career professionals.

Our team members work with enterprise customers locally regionally domestically and internationally. As such this role has up to 75% travel associated.

Key job responsibilities
Our Associate Security Consultants will deliver architecture guidance proof-of-concept projects and customer/partner workshops. AWS consultants collaborate with customers and partners to address the security risk and compliance needs of their AWS migrations. This role will specialize in all aspects of information security management as well as business and regulatory compliance using cloud services in large-scale computing environments.


A day in the life
AWS Security Assurance Services LLC a PCI-QSAC (Payment Card Industry-Qualified Security Assessor company) and HITRUST External Assessor Firm is a team of industry certified assessors helping our customers achieve maintain and automate compliance in the cloud by tying together applicable audit standards to AWS service specific features and functionality.

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering Mathematics or related field
- Hands-on experience in security architecture automation implementation integration and deployment
- Strong scripting skills eg. Python Javascript PowerShell Bash etc

- Implementation experience with AWS services
- Implementation experience with enterprise security solutions such as WAF IPS Anti-DDOS and SIEM
- Implementation experience with enterprise security packages identity management and federation systems
- Hands-on technical expertise in building security capabilities in code and deploying infrastructure in code
