Scope of role:
The Sales & Business Development Manager is responsible for developing and implementing the companys commercial strategy to drive sustainable revenue growth and market expansion and reports to the General Director.
Main Responsibilities
- Develop & execute the commercial strategy aligning with sales marketing & business objectives.
- Drive revenue growth by strengthening retail partnerships & identifying new opportunities.
- Expand the business ecosystem with profitable new products & services.
- Own commercial policy including pricing incentives & channel strategy.
- Lead & oversee Area Managers & Business Development teams ensuring performance through key metrics.
- Set sales targets monitor KPIs & drive continuous improvement.
- Foster a high-performance culture through coaching & team development.
- Analyze market trends & pricing strategies to refine commercial initiatives.
- Collaborate with Marketing on sales campaigns & lead generation.
- Leverage digital tools to enhance sales customer engagement & market intelligence.
- Ensure compliance with policies & industry regulations.
- Strengthen partner relationships improve retention & implement loyalty programs.
- Build & maintain key stakeholder relationships to drive growth.
- Contribute to business strategy as part of the Companys leadership team.
Requirements
- At least 12 years of experience in Commercial roles including at least 3 years in managerial positions B2B sales experience preferably within the retail industry
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration Marketing or a related field. Masters or MBA is a plus.
- Demonstrate a strong track record of exceeding aggressive sales targets.
- Analytical skills in P&L management sales incentives and commercialization strategies.
- Proficiency in leveraging digital tools and CRM systems (Softone)
- Excellent spoken and written English
- Ability to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities expanding the companys product and service ecosystem.
- The role requires 25% traveling within Greece and potentially internationally.
