Job Description

Veterinary Medical Director

Location: Edmonton AB

Guardian Veterinary Centre is welcoming a Veterinary Medical Director to join our team of highly engaged and professional veterinary specialists. As a Veterinary Medical Director your responsibilities will be providing leadership for the Clinic and ensuring compliance relating to the practice of veterinary medicine. Working in partnership with the management team you will contribute to the financial performance of the hospital by setting and meeting budgeting and operational targets directing and fostering the veterinary team to deliver exceptional client experience and excellence in veterinary care.

  • Experience leading a team of veterinary professionals when addressing changes and/or improvements to medical protocols

  • Oversees surgical and medical cases for veterinary doctors ensuring positive outcomes and accurate estimates

  • Dedicated to promoting team-based medicine practices

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills in working with your colleagues pet parents and community

  • Exceptional coaching and mentoring capabilities for our rotating internship students; teaching coaching and guiding.
